I know my fellow West Indians will appreciate this one! I recently came across a monthly subscription box with uniquely tailored products that are essential in many West Indian kitchens. Even if you're not West Indian but love the food, you can get your hands on products like (seasonings, pepper sauce, sorrel, pholourie mix, curry, and so much more). Visit www.callaloobox.com for more information.

Do you love pizza as much as I do?! Then, I know you'll appreciate this one. There's a pizza place in Yonkers, NY that sells 2-foot long pizza slices. Yes you read that correctly! I am dying to visit this place and hopefully I'll get the chance soon. You can check them out on Instagram @pizzabarnyonkers or www.pizzabarnyonkers.com
So if you know me then you already know that I love margaritas! And now that I'm no longer pregnant I'm even more excited for this. For those who don't know, the Margarita March is an annual event where you pretty much hop from bar to bar drinking margaritas (duh!). It started in 2013 and that takes place in different cities across the country (NYC, D.C., Miami, Philly). The NYC Margarita March takes place August 19th. You need to purchase a ticket which costs $65 and includes 8 margaritas at 8 different NYC bars. A portion of the proceeds are donated to charity. You can purchase tickets here and check out the Margarita March Facebook page for more info.
Ingredients:
Directions: 1. Roll out dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle. 2. Cover dough with nonpareils and roll out one more time to set the sprinkles. 3. Trim the rigid edges of the dough to make a perfect rectangle and then cut cookies into triangles. 4. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and long tinfoil rods (the rods will create the chip-like shape of the nachos) and bake in the oven at 375°F for 7-10 minutes. 5. Serve with frosting and impress the shit out of your friends. -via Spoon University Because. . .alcohol. . .

While I'm not too fond of wine (more of a beer drinking kind of girl), I love ice cream and when I learned that there's actually a brand of wine ice cream, I obviously had to know more. So this ice cream was launched in 2008 by Mercer's Diary in New York and comes in a variety of flavors: Cherry Merlot, Peach White Zinfandel, Riesling, and more. Even Hillary Clinton swears by it. I can't even lie, I'm dying to try it. Not sure if you can find them in any stores nearby, but you can order online, and if you happen to live in Boonville, NY you can visit their store. Check it out at www.mercersdairy.com
As many of you already know, I love Kanye West with all my heart. And not only do I love him, but I love anyone who loves and respects what Kanye has done for music as well as fashion. I've never heard of Morgenstern's ice cream parlor but they grabbed my attention because in honor of Kanye's 38th birthday they've created an ice cream menu inspired by Kanye's work. It's kinda random but dope at the same time. For all my Kanye and ice cream fans, you can check it out @Morgensterns located at 2 Rivington Street in NYC
