When I heard that LA Splash Cosmetics was releasing a collection of Harry Potter inspired liquid lipsticks I was too excited, but like many things in life it was too good to be true. Each lipstick in the collection was originally supposed to be named after different Harry Potter characters and the Hogwart's houses. But my guess is because of copyright issues they had to change the names. Thankfully, the colors are the same because they are dope! My favorites that I'm dying to try are Deadly Nightshade (originally named Sirius) and Bella Donna (originally named Bellatrix). To all my Harry Fans who got excited like I did, Sorry LOL! You can check out and purchase the lipsticks at shop-lasplash.com

So Sephora has officially launched their monthly subscription box and it must be great because there's a waitlist (Yes, I'm on it!). The idea is similar to Ipsy and in terms of price I'd say it's definitely worth it. Unlike Ipsy they send everyone the same products so there's no need to get upset (like I do) when you don't get a product that you really wanted. And even if you're not subscribed yet they allow you to see what products were in the box for that month and you get to buy the same products (at full price, obviously) if you like them. Their brands are definitely a step up from Ipsy's so hopefully I'm not on the waitlist for too long. Check it out and sign up at sephora.com/play

If you follow me on Instagram or know me in real life then you know how I feel about this woman. She is a musical legend, a style icon, and not to mention super gorgeous with a beautiful soul. She's a queen in my eyes and even 20 years after her death she still deserves recognition. Recently, a petition was started to get M.A.C. cosmetics to create a limited edition line in honor of Selena. I think this would be amazing if it actually happened. So if you love her as much as I do, click the link below to sign the petition.
Petition for Selena by M.A.C. As much as I love my natural hair, I'm back on the "creamy crack". After 3 years, I decided to end my natural hair journey for a very specific reason, my hair is extremely too thick and coarse to manage on a daily basis. Call me lazy or impatient but I just can't do it. I also never intended to become "natural". Don't get me wrong, I absolutely enjoyed the experience, but I never stopped and said "relaxers are bad I'm not gonna relax my hair anymore." When I was 20, I shaved the sides of my hair and when I was ready to grow it out I decided to wear wigs until it was back to a length I was comfortable with. So it really made no sense to relax my hair. Now when my fro was smaller and just starting to grow out, I could manage it. But as it got longer and healthier, the thickness got out of control. My mom suggested I get a texturizer to "soften" my kinks. But in all reality, texturizers are extremely similar to relaxers. So after about 6 months of going back and forth, I decided I would relax my hair again. To some this may seem like a drastic decision, but to me it's just hair. I've gone through plenty of different phases and styles with my hair and this is just another one. Will I get tired of relaxing it? Maybe. Will I wish I was natural again? Maybe. But I don't care. I might decide tomorrow that I want a short pixie cut. It's just hair! As long as my hair is healthy I can do anything I want with it and guess what? It'll grow back. Now this is not meant to discourage anyone on their natural hair journey. My experiences with my hair are specific to me! I know what my hair can and cannot withstand. I know how my hair grows and what it takes for it to be healthy. For some people relaxers just don't work and that's okay. And for others they can achieve healthy relaxed hair. You have to decide what's best for you! Don't ever let anybody try to make you feel bad about choosing to be natural or choosing to relax your hair. Even though I am no longer natural, I will be giving natural hair care tips and reviews as well as tips and reviews for those with relaxed hair. If you guys have any questions or comments, email me or leave it in the comment section. And follow me on Instagram, to see more pics of my current hair and my natural hair.
Info on the clip ins I'm wearing: 16 in. / 10 pcs set / 220g/ Link here Relaxer I used: Alter Ego Linange Shea Butter Relaxer Sad news! Recently I noticed that I'm getting stretch marks on the sides of my boobies (I guess they're finally shrinking...praise God!). So before they get out of hand, I decided to try Bio Oil. I've heard great things about this product, especially from women who have had stretch marks while being pregnant. It's also really good for scars and uneven skin tone. So like I said I will be using it to take care of the stretch marks on my boobs, and also my butt, and a couple other randoms scars (like burning myself with a black and mild *blank stare*. It says to use for a minimum of 3 months before noticing results *side eye* but I will be doing a review at the first sign of change. I bought mine at Walmart for $11.99 I think. I've also seen it at a couple local beauty supply stores, and also online. Like I said I will do a review once I start seeing results. If you're having the same problems as I am, I definitely recommend it based on the great things I've heard about it.
