Yes, this is an actual thing! While I'm not too fond of wine (more of a beer drinking kind of girl), I love ice cream and when I learned that there's actually a brand of wine ice cream, I obviously had to know more. So this ice cream was launched in 2008 by Mercer's Diary in New York and comes in a variety of flavors: Cherry Merlot, Peach White Zinfandel, Riesling, and more. Even Hillary Clinton swears by it. I can't even lie, I'm dying to try it. Not sure if you can find them in any stores nearby, but you can order online, and if you happen to live in Boonville, NY you can visit their store.
